I went through an OA-to-onsite progression with multiple technical rounds, and time management became the deciding factor.

OA + initial interviews — I passed an online assessment with two coding interviews.
Online behavioral + technical (two questions) — I had one behavioral and one technical coding round online.
Final onsite (two technical rounds) — I was flown to Mountain View for two final technical interviews.
Additional post-onsite interview (in one version) — In another path, after onsite I also completed an extra online interview.

Outcome: I didn’t get an offer; I could solve the problems but wasn’t always fast enough for follow-up questions.
