My interviews started in a pretty standard way, with early LeetCode-style coding questions, and at first I felt okay about the difficulty.

The issue was less about the questions and more about one of the interviewers’ comfort with DSA, which made the first technical exchange feel awkward and slower than it needed to be.

After that, I got pulled into a tougher set of technical rounds—three more technical discussions that were also LeetCode style but felt slightly harder. They were challenging enough that I had to focus hard on explaining my reasoning as I went. Even with my own background, the questions demanded more than I had easily at hand, and it made me question whether my experience matched what the role required.
