My first screening coding problem stood out because it was very specific and a bit involved.

I was given a sorted array and an integer threshold, and I had to model an undirected graph where each index was a node. The rule was to connect two indices when the values in the array were within the threshold, and then I had a set of queries asking about relationships between pairs. The task ended up being about building the right graph structure and then answering the queries correctly.
