My process started with staying in contact with a recruiter from the beginning.

After that, I did an online behavioral interview that focused on culture fit and “Googliness,” and then I had a coding interview in a data structures and algorithms / LeetCode style format.

From there, the interviews felt more like a typical Google progression: an initial recruiter screen, followed by technical rounds covering data structures and algorithms and then system design and another behavioral with the hiring manager mixed in. The experience was generally professional, and at times the interviewers were even able to explain what they were looking for.

It wasn’t smooth the whole
