RemoteCandidate report, summarized by Dataford

I made it far enough to hit what I understood as the last step before onsite for the Research Engineer role, but I ended up getting rejected at that stage.

The thing that consumed the most energy was a grueling 2-hour technical round that tested core computer science fundamentals, and I remember feeling both proud and exhausted that I pushed through it.

By the time I got the rejection, I had this mix of frustration and respect for how tight the bar felt late in the process. It also clarified for me that even after surviving a tough fundamentals evaluation, that didn’t guarantee the rest of the interview chain would land well for me overall.
