Global Software Engineer interview experience

London, EnglandPosted Aug 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through an interview process that seemed like it was going fine right up until the communication completely stopped.

After the interview, both the recruiter and the company went silent—no feedback, no rejection email, just a total fade-out. Even after I emailed asking for a status update or feedback, nothing came back.

It was hard not to read into the silence, but the frustrating part was how unprofessional it felt. The round itself didn’t leave me with a clear “no”; it just left me hanging. By the end, I didn’t get an offer, and the lack of closure was honestly the worst takeaway from the whole experience.
