Blacksburg, VAPosted Mar 2016 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I got the opportunity through a campus career fair, and the next day I had an on-campus 1:1 interview.

The format was a mix of two behavioral questions and two technical questions.

I didn’t do well on the follow-ups that came after my initial answers, and even though the interview itself felt like a normal conversation, the follow-up portion was where I lost momentum. After one week, I didn’t receive an offer.

What lingered for me was how quickly the interview could move from “answering” to “explaining further,” and how the follow-ups carried more weight than I expected.
