global consulting firm Software Engineer interview experience

The plan was three interviews—two coding and one quant—but one interviewer had a conflict, so I only did two. Even with that change, the format still felt like a rapid evaluation instead of a spaced-out process.

The two coding interviews required me to jump into solutions quickly after the assessment, which kept my focus high and my nerves steady. I didn’t make it to the end and didn’t receive an offer. What surprised me was how the day’s momentum mattered—there wasn’t time to settle between rounds, so any lapse had a bigger impact.
