My journey was short and fairly decisive.

I did an online assessment and then a 1:1 interview with a SWE on one of their teams. I didn’t progress past the initial stage because I struggled on the online assessment.

The 1:1 itself felt more typical—mostly behavioral with some light technical discussion. It helped me see what the team conversations were like, but the OA clearly carried the weight. I didn’t get an offer, and honestly it felt like the assessment was the gatekeeper, while the personal chat didn’t have enough chance to change the final decision.
