I had three interviews before landing at my job as an SDR, but the hardest part of the whole experience was the final mock call.

That last step required the most preparation and it pushed me to be confident under sales-style pressure.

The earlier interviews were mostly about my background and general skills—less about performance and more about fit based on experience. The mock call was different: it demanded a more polished delivery and a sharper sense of how to structure the sales conversation.

Even though I didn’t get an offer through this specific path, I did get something valuable from the experience because the mock call clarified where I actually needed to improve.
