I applied through a recruiter and the process took about two months, which surprised me because it didn’t feel like a quick sprint.

I interviewed in Amsterdam in March 2024, and the whole thing ended up being long but fulfilling. Each step felt tailored to specific tasks and behaviors, with an emphasis on connecting what they were looking for to the kind of personal values I brought.

The interviews never felt random; they were consistently framed around how my approach would fit the company’s vision and requirements. Even with that, I didn’t end up getting an offer. Looking back, the hardest part wasn’t the interview content as much as the sheer duration—two months of commitment makes the end result sting a bit more.
