GHD Software Engineer interview experience

It didn’t feel excessively complex or drawn out, and it came across as a normal hiring flow.

What disappointed me was the result: instead of being offered the job I applied for, I was offered something unrelated—work I didn’t have the qualifications for and which wasn’t what I’d originally targeted. I didn’t get the role I wanted, and the mismatch left a sour feeling because the process itself had been easy to follow.

In the end, I appreciated that the hiring steps weren’t confusing, but I didn’t think the final outcome matched the conversation that had started the process.
