Georgia, LAPosted Jul 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I ran into a recruiter-communication breakdown where early steps happened, but follow-through never did, leaving me frustrated.

Recruiter phone screen — quick questions about specific job technologies (like Spring Boot years of experience) in a short call.
Position canceled shortly after — after being told next steps would come, I received cancellation emails shortly afterward.
Recruiter ghosting after coding assessment — I completed a coding assessment and then repeatedly tried to reach the recruiter, but received no response. Outcome: No offer—my takeaway was that the process lacked reliability in communication and commitment to the candidate.
