I ran into a process where a small, easy coding assessment came early, and the remainder—if any—didn’t follow for me.

Take-home / online coding assessment — I handled a very simple coding task (e.g., formatting strings) in a short assessment.
Behavioral interview (STAR-only style) — In one experience, that was followed by a two-hour behavioral interview where STAR questions were the focus.
Assessment-only path — In another experience, I completed a coding test after applying but wasn’t moved to the interview stage. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer; the takeaway is that clearing an easy coding gate wasn’t sufficient in all cases.
