I encountered a lighter, program-style process with mostly STAR/background questions and limited live technical depth, leading to no offer.

Online assessment / program screening — One step that mixed background and behavioral questions with some technical questions to help determine placement or department; in my case it was part of an undergrad/student program.
(No clear follow-up live interview) — In one experience, I didn’t get a second interview after the assessment. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer; overall it felt structured around fit and guidance (especially STAR), with limited technical questioning.
