My interview experience felt like a big bundle of major questions, with no clear prep material that would actually change the outcome.

I didn’t get a sense that there was a special template to memorize; the expectation was to answer according to the job description.

The conversation mainly pulled from my past experiences and skills and focused on what I could bring to the position. The hardest part for me wasn’t the subject matter so much as the feeling that I had to pull from real work history and describe it in a way that matched the role.

I was rejected, and honestly the process made me feel that it rewarded being truthful and direct over trying to guess what they wanted to hear.
