My interview started with an easy, low-friction conversation where they mainly wanted to understand my background and how I fit the role.

It was pretty simple and intuitive, and the questions leaned behavioral with only a light touch of technical content. When technical topics came up, they were tied to fundamentals like coding experience and how I’d think about object-oriented programming and practical command-line usage.

As I moved forward, it stayed fairly approachable—nothing felt designed to overwhelm me. Even when there were more general-purpose behavioral questions, they were framed like a way to gauge character and how I’d operate day to day rather than trying to catch me off guard.

I didn’t end up with an offer.
