It was a simple interview where the core task was showing how I’d solve problems on a board.

I met with the VP of software and the engineering manager, and the vibe was friendly and direct. They didn’t try to catch me with trick questions.

The questions were focused on how I reason through problems in a more hands-on way, rather than anything overly convoluted. Even though it was labeled “simple,” the board work required real thinking, and I didn’t get an offer afterward. The part that stood out most was how straightforward they were about what they expected.
