Gemini Software Engineer interview experience

A phone call was scheduled, but the call never happened at the appointed time. When I emailed shortly after the missed start, the recruiter said they’d had phone problems all day, and it really threw me—if that was the case, the lack of rescheduling felt careless, especially since I’d blocked time at my current job.

After that, I didn’t hear anything back. The whole experience landed as a mix of wasted time and radio silence, and it matched what I’d heard about how that recruiter operated. I walked away feeling like I’d been ghosted rather than evaluated.
