Geekyants Software Software Engineer interview experience

No offer

Positive

IndiaPosted Jun 2021 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My process leaned heavily on automated tooling and tests.

I had a HackerRank assessment, followed by three technical rounds. The final round was described as flexible—who took it could vary—either a developer, a manager, or someone else from the team.

One part of this experience that really stuck was how confusing the test setup felt. The instructions for uploading and attempting the work weren’t clear, and that made the whole process feel dull and uninteresting rather than engaging. I remember spending more time trying to interpret the mechanics than thinking about the technical problems themselves.

I didn’t get an offer. What I took from it
