Garmin Software Engineer interview experience

Negative

KansasCandidate report, summarized by Dataford

My only interaction was with a recruiter, and it ended up feeling very different from a normal technical or behavioral screen.

The conversation focused heavily on pay in relation to the location in Kansas, and they emphasized that they cared a lot about GPA—even if I was several years out of school.

After that discussion, nothing else came through. Communication just stopped, and the whole experience felt like being left hanging. It wasn’t so much about the content of the interview itself as how quickly it went nowhere afterward, and it left me frustrated because there was no clear follow-up.
