GameStop Account Executive interview experience

The atmosphere felt businesslike but not cold—more like a structured screen than an open conversation. I expected questions about my experience, and that matched what happened.

I was asked a mix of fit and behavior questions. A lot of it was about how I’d deal with customers, management, and coworkers, including how I handled problems that came up on previous jobs and what I would do differently to improve a situation. They also touched on my personality and general approach, plus some coverage of the merchandise sold in the store.

Game knowledge came up too, but it wasn’t the only focus.
