I went through a longer, multi-location journey that started in-person at a school and then moved through different offices and interview formats.

First, I met with a team in-person at the school setting, and it came across as a genuinely good introduction. After that, I had a Zoom meeting with another team, and then I was on a phone call with yet another location the next day.

The final step was in-person again, but by then the atmosphere felt more corporate and a bit monotonous to me, which made it harder to read the room. The process had multiple touchpoints and an unusual geographic flow, so I spent a lot of time switching context while still trying to keep my story consistent.

Overall, it didn’t feel like one smooth single-thread
