I applied online and, after a few days, I received preparation material covering a pretty wide set of topics—probability theory (including martingales and stopping times), Markov processes, regression, estimation, and even things like portfolio theory concepts plus C++.

A frustrating detail was that the links to the lecture notes didn’t work. I tried contacting the company to ask about progress and to clarify things, reaching out multiple times by email and phone, but I never received a reply. I eventually made a fresh application later, hoping the second attempt would lead to an interview.

No offer came from it. Honestly, what stuck with me wasn’t just the technical prep material—it was the lack of response when I tried to get basic status and support. The silence made the process feel stalled rather than moving forward.
