My journey started with a quantitative test focused on fundamentals more than advanced theory.

I was tested on core probability and statistics, linear algebra, programming, and finance. If I passed, the next stage was a triage interview where they figured out which technical tracks fit me, and then I’d be routed into multiple interviews based on that.

Once I got through triage, the interviews matched the way they’d described the mapping: one technical interview on maths, and the remaining ones pulled from areas like stats, finance, programming, and machine learning. After that point, the process ended with manager interviews.

What stayed with me was how deliberate the routing felt.
