Freshworks Software Engineer interview experience

Once the questions were dropped into the video call, the conversation didn’t leave much room for setting context.

During the coding assessment, the interviewer wanted me to solve immediately and asked how long it would take. I didn’t get much chance to discuss approach or walk through my thought process before being pushed to produce the solution.

I ultimately wasn’t selected. The biggest thing I remember was how unsupportive the interaction felt—more like I was being tested for speed than for reasoning, which made the whole round stressful and limiting.
