Fractal Data Engineer interview experience

Two of the rounds were technical, and one was managerial. The technical questions landed at a mid level difficulty, but the expectation felt very hands-on—like they were looking for someone who had actually worked through these problems, not just read about them.

The managerial part blended into how I described my approach and how I’d operate in a team setting, but the whole process still centered on proving I could handle real data engineering work. I didn’t get an offer, and the overall difficulty left me feeling that the bar was about practical competency rather than theoretical
