I kicked things off with an online test on a third-party platform.

The test had a mix of multiple-choice questions and only a couple of coding/problem-solving tasks, and the whole setup felt time-boxed. The MCQs were the part that really tripped me up—one set of questions even pulled in topics like image processing concepts and activation functions, while other questions leaned into probability and reinforcement learning, along with classifiers like Naive Bayes and SVM.

The coding/problem portion used familiar datasets (like wine and spa for classification-style work), but the pressure was what made it hard. I remember feeling like there just wasn’t enough
