I had a recruiter call first, and then I went into a one-hour technical interview where we talked through some C++ concepts using code—things like classes and polymorphism.

The conversation was technical, but the interviewer’s demeanor made it feel awkward.

He was very disrespectful during the discussion, and even during the live session he didn’t bother turning on his video. It felt like the session wasn’t treated with any care, which threw off my focus and made it harder to fully engage with the technical questions.

I didn’t get an offer. Looking back, I could handle the difficulty of the C++ topics, but the overall experience left me more discouraged than I expected.
