FlexTrade Systems Inc. Software Engineer interview experience

The first part was an online assessment, and then I was invited for an onsite interview focused on algorithms and data structures.

The experience felt positive overall, and I remember getting encouraging feedback during the onsite.

Still, I was rejected because I didn’t have a financial background. That requirement came as a surprise compared to how the technical discussion was framed, and it felt like the process had been looking for something broader than what the algorithm and data structure focus suggested. I didn’t get an offer, and that mismatch was the main takeaway.
