FlexTrade Systems Inc. Software Engineer interview experience

It wasn’t described to me as extremely difficult, but it felt like it required real depth because the interviewers were sharp and expected coherent answers rather than surface-level familiarity.

I remember getting the impression that passing depended less on luck and more on how well someone could think through problems across the stack of computer science topics. The overall difficulty felt manageable, even if the questions were high-standard. I didn’t end up getting an offer, but the experience was clear about what they cared about.
