I interviewed for a FIS Software Engineer role and found the experience frustrating mainly due to slow follow-up and “on hold” outcomes after I cleared multiple rounds.

HR scheduling / first HR call — I had an HR interaction to set up interviews.
Technical round(s) — I completed technical interviews and felt I performed well enough to pass.
Tech/manager round — I continued through managerial/technical discussions; in one case the rejection came at a non-technical stage.
HR and document/BGV steps — I provided documents for background verification, but I experienced long delays and no updates. Outcome: I didn’t move forward after being shortlisted/on hold; the takeaway was that the process can drag even after passing rounds.
