I interviewed for a Software Engineer role at FIS Global with a medium-difficulty, Java-and-platform style technical track, covering core concepts and broad systems topics before HR.

Technical test — I completed a technical assessment with Java 8 as the focus, including stream/collector-style coding.
Virtual technical rounds — I went through two additional virtual technical interviews covering Java 8, multithreading, Spring Boot, SQL, microservices, and cloud/native tooling topics like AWS, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
Technical follow-up (concept deep dive) — I was also tested on foundational programming and OOP fundamentals like encapsulation, inheritance, polymorphism, and abstraction.
HR / final steps — The last stage involved HR-style discussions
