Fanduel Software Engineer interview experience

After that, I went through an in-person interview with three members of the team. The in-person part felt more focused on fit and whether they wanted to work with me rather than on grilling technical depth.

What surprised me was that there was no coding or whiteboard component during the in-person round, and the overall technical emphasis didn’t feel like a standard engineering test. It was more about getting a feel for my experience level and how I’d collaborate day to day. I didn’t receive an offer, but the experience itself was straightforward and conversational.
