I interviewed for FactSet Research Analyst in a tougher, multi-part journey where I had to clear a confusing problem-solving exam before deeper technical and accounting knowledge was tested.

Exam/problem-solving assessment — I completed an online exam with logical and problem-solving questions that felt intentionally challenging.
General + technical interviews — After the exam, I had interviews that mixed general discussion with technical evaluation.
Accounting-focused technical screen — I was tested for accounting knowledge alongside confidence and commitment. Outcome: No offer, and the takeaway was that strong analytical problem-solving plus solid accounting grounding were required to survive the harder screens.
