Factset Software Engineer interview experience

There was an unnecessary consultancy round, then a client round, and later a hiring manager round that I felt was a waste of time for an hour.

After clearing each round, I didn’t get updates, and after waiting a week to ten days I was told I was rejected. The feeling I had was that the HR was possibly pushing for someone with internal reference, and that even when a consultancy is involved, it can still fall through if they don’t get their cut. That whole lack of professional follow-through left a bad taste even though the technical portions were completed.
