Factset Software Engineer interview experience

HR reached out first for a phone screening, and that led to a Zoom conversation with the hiring manager. The discussion was straightforward and mostly focused on my past work and how it lined up with the role I’d applied for, and the interviewer was friendly enough that it didn’t feel tense.

It left me with a good impression because it didn’t feel like a long chain of hurdles—it was just a clean, direct exchange. I didn’t end up with an offer, but it was still one of the smoother experiences I had.
