Seattle, WAPosted Jun 2019 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

The first step was a phone screen where they asked how familiar I was with F5 and what products they develop.

That call wasn’t just about technical awareness either—I got questions that sounded more like leadership and management style, including how I approached leading and working with others.

After that, I went onsite for interviews with both technical and management leaders. The process felt like it was trying to cover two angles at once: my fit for the organization as well as how I handled the kinds of work the team actually does.

It ended without an offer, but the overall structure was clear and the questions were coherent with that blend of product awareness and leadership/management themes.
