F5 Networks Software Engineer interview experience

Got offer

Hard

Negative

BengaluruPosted Aug 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had five rounds overall, and most of the interview focus was on C/C++ data structures and algorithms.

Three of the rounds felt heavily algorithmic, and even though the later rounds shifted a bit, they still stayed rooted in technical problem-solving.

The fourth round was a behavioral conversation, and it was comparatively easy and seemed more about fit than difficulty. The thing that stuck with me was how consistent the algorithm-heavy theme was right up until the behavior step.

I got an offer. My honest reflection is that the experience was intense, but the difficulty didn’t feel random—it felt like a straight line of testing core CS strength.
