Ann Arbor, MIPosted Sep 2016 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I started at a campus career fair where I was given a simple coding challenge.

After I got through that, I was invited for a more structured technical screening a couple days later. I worked through one programming problem for about half an hour, and it leaned on fundamentals—one version centered around matrices and recursion.

After the screening, the wait was pretty focused. I heard back about a week later that I wasn’t the right match for what they were looking for. Even though the questions didn’t feel wildly advanced, I remember it as a tougher fit moment—passing the initial challenge wasn’t enough to guarantee momentum, and the feedback came with a clear stop.
