ExtraHop Networks Software Engineer interview experience

The call lasted around 45 minutes and moved through my basic background first, then some technique questions about networking, and finally a coding task. What surprised me was how conversational it was; the interviewer would talk through the basic ideas with me during the coding portion rather than leaving me completely on my own.

After that phone screen, I was moved forward to a more informal meeting with the hiring manager. That part felt a little unfocused compared to the earlier structure—I felt like the conversation meandered and I wasn’t convinced they learned enough about my skills.
