Expleo Group Software Engineer interview experience

London, EnglandPosted Nov 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for the Software Engineer role and found the early stages easy, but the final “interview” was unusually impersonal and felt like a quiz rather than a discussion.

Aptitude/competency/developer quizzes — Early checks were straightforward and didn’t feel overly challenging.
Final stage (presented as interview, ran like quiz) — After a short intro from a senior architect, I was given a long set of mostly definition-style questions (“what is…”), with me writing answers on paper and no real opportunity to discuss my experience. Outcome: No offer; the takeaway is that the last step didn’t reflect an interactive interview experience.
