SwedenPosted May 2022 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for Expleo’s Software Engineer role in a fairly extensive, multi-interview schedule over video and calls, ending with a compensation-related decision.

HR call (initial) — a first conversation with HR.
Manager interview + mission proposal — about a week later, I met a responsible manager and received a mission proposal.
Technical interview (mission-specific) — a technical round tailored to the mission.
HR for remuneration — discussion of pay components and related contract aspects.
Outcome: I declined the remuneration proposal, and the takeaway was that compensation discussions can be the final deciding step.
