I interviewed for the Software Engineer role via a campus drive that became chaotic, and although I was marked selected, I never received joining paperwork.

Campus drive (3-stage procedure) — The process started at the university, but it took a long time and moved slowly across stages.
Post-selection delay — I left by early evening with a note that I was selected, but after two years I still hadn’t received a joining letter. Outcome: No confirmed onboarding; the takeaway is that “selected” statuses don’t always translate into delivered documentation.
