Experian Network Engineer interview experience

Got offer

Hard

Negative

Plano, TXPosted Mar 2021 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had a panel interview with roughly a dozen other people, and it immediately felt intense because it used a confrontational style that leaned on good-cop/bad-cop dynamics.

The day didn’t feel supportive or collaborative, and it turned into a very negative experience for me overall.

They eventually offered me the position, but I declined. Even with the offer on the table, the environment and how the interview was run left me unwilling to imagine joining that kind of culture.

Looking back, the outcome was technically positive, but the feeling around it was the opposite—more about the interview atmosphere than about my performance. It was a reminder that the way things are conducted can matter as much as the final decision.
