My process started with a recruiter screening call, followed by a take-home assignment.

After that, I had a call with an SDR manager, and then I ended with a longer, two-hour onsite interview.

What made the whole experience stressful was the compensation shift late in the game. A team-wide salary reduction happened before my final round interview, so the package I ended up discussing was lower than what I had initially heard about with the recruiter.

I didn’t get an offer, and that mismatch on top of the structured multi-step process left me feeling like the timing worked against me.
