I went through a pretty straightforward campus route.

After applying through my school job fair, I got an email asking me to come interview the very next day. At the event, two people spoke with me one after the other. The first interviewer actually ran behavioral questions and took notes as I answered, while the second mainly talked generally about the company and then asked if I had any questions. Everyone was friendly, and the overall vibe felt light rather than heavily scrutinizing.

A different recruiter-led path I later experienced had a similar easy feel. First there was a phone contact, then I moved to an interview with the team leader.
