After a recruiter reached out, the process started with an initial recruiter conversation and then a technical screening once we got past a scheduling hiccup.

The technical screening wasn’t a LeetCode-style question; it was more practical and broken into several connected parts where each step built on what came before.

For the onsite, the path ended up combining systems design with the onsite rounds. I went through multiple interviews in a long block: a system design conversation, time with the hiring manager, a project deep dive focused on the details of something I’d worked on, and a debugging interview where I had to work through an app with bugs. There was also a meeting with the director of engineering, plus a wrap-up chat with the recruiter
