Brooklyn, NYPosted Feb 2020 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My process started with reaching out from a recruiter and then an online assessment that was very much about debugging Express/JavaScript-style code.

After that, I was invited to their HQ in Brooklyn. Before the interviews, I toured the office and got to spend time with the recruiter, which made the whole thing feel much less intimidating.

Onsite, I had two main rounds in the Dumbo/Brooklyn setup. One was technical and centered on a Flask/Python-style debugging and enhancement task. I didn’t know the language as well going in, so I was initially thrown off, but the interviewer was supportive and helped with syntax while I worked toward the solution. The other round was behavioral with typical STAR-format prompts about past experiences.
