Etsy Software Engineer interview experience

The HR conversation covered typical recruiting questions like why I was looking, what I knew about Etsy, and my most challenging project.

After another two weeks, I received an invitation for a technical interview. The coding question was a string problem that felt relatively easy, and it seemed like the point was to understand my thought process rather than to trick me.

I received a rejection email two weeks later. It was fairly straightforward, but the lack of an offer after going through those stages was disappointing.
